Woman at the temple

Woman at the Temple is an ongoing series that honors the inner temple hidden within each of us, a sacred space that asks to be cared for, listened to and revered.

The inspiration was born in Kyoto in 2018, at the sight of a woman fully immersed in prayer. Her quiet devotion moved me deeply. In that stillness, I witnessed a form of strength both gentle and absolute. From that moment on I began painting women in prayer, as a way of honoring presence, introspection and the silent rituals that sustain our inner world.
